Cancellation Policy

Commitment Requirements

  • Minimum Term: Artists may not cancel their participation before satisfying their initial minimum time commitment.
    • Tsawwassen Mills: A minimum of 12 weekends must be completed.
    • Lansdowne Centre: A minimum of 3 months must be completed.

Cancellation Process

  • Notice Period: Artists must provide written notice of cancellation at least fourteen (14) days prior to the start of their next billing cycle.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: All subscription fees are non-refundable.

Location Transitions

  • Switching Locations: If an artist wishes to switch locations, they must formally notify Magic Chest to cancel their current location agreement and submit a new application for the desired location.
  • Approval Process: Each location maintains a separate application and approval process. Approval for one location does not grant automatic approval or transfer rights to the other; all new applications are subject to a separate review.
  • Resetting Commitments: Changing locations requires a new agreement, which resets the minimum time commitment.

Inventory & Final Settlement

  • Inventory Retrieval: Upon contract termination, artists must retrieve their remaining inventory.
  • Abandonment Protocol: Any inventory left unclaimed will be held for 30 days post-termination before being classified as abandoned and disposed of by Magic Chest.
  • Final Balances: Any outstanding fees or charges must be settled in full before any inventory is released to the artist.
  • Shipping/Returns: For non-local artists, all costs related to packing materials, postage, insurance, and carrier fees for returned inventory are the sole responsibility of the artist.
